8:30am Morning Tours (meet at the Home Mercantile) Take a learning tour of Casa La Entereza, a passive solar home with rainwater harvesting and solar electricity generation. Take the same air-conditioned bus and see some amazing playa lakes, wildlife, and habitat. Learn how playas have impacted the land for thousands of years, and see how landowners are managing to preserve them today. Tour pacage includes inforative guide tours, plus german sausage lunch at the community hall. 10:30a-5pm "Living Inside of Time" Exhibit at the Home Mercantile View a stunnig first-run exhibit by California-Colorado artist Terry Birkenfeld, featuring mixed mediums of acrylic, oil, yupo paper, and other unexpected items.
10:00am-5pm Arts & Craft Show/ Open Air Market (Indoor and Outdoor Booths) View the creative item and arts that people make in their spare time, folks who live in the Nazareth Area and surrounding region.
10:30am "White Thread in Family History" Exhibit at Holy Family Church Historic heirloom Christening garments displayed from many Panhandle families, along with history of baptismal robes and artistic symbols - appreciate the first of culture's three white dresses.
11:00am-2:00pm German Sausage Dinner at the Nazareth Community Hall Enjoy German Sausage, potatoes, sauerkraut, green beans, salad, and apple crisp and German chocolate cake.
1:00pm-3:00pm Pioneer Days at Nazareth Museum & Annex Demonstrations include: making German sausage and home-brewed beer.
11:00am-3:00pm Children's Water slides & Barrel Rides
1:00pm Homemade Ice Cream and Struedal at the Senior Citizen Center
1:00p-5:00p Live Music Stage Country, Gospel, and Old Time Music from Various Musicians
3:00p-5:00p Best of The Wurst Sausage Cook-off Buy a $2.00 ticket and you'll be able to sample all the fixin's and then cast your vote to select the best Sausage (wurst) of the day! For more info or to enter please call Rusty Schacher at (806) 945-2230
5:00p Closing of Tours and Exhibits Gates open at Community Ballpark
6:30p Suds 'n Sounds music begins at the outdoor Concert and Dance. Headline band Aaron Watson. Admission is $20.00 a person.
